Her journey led her westward, where she embraced wide-open spaces and a slower way of living, unearthing what truly matters: people, purpose, and being present.

Fitting to her adventurous name, Indy has spent the past few years immersing herself in historical preservation projects that bring the past to life in meaningful ways. As the Grants and Projects Coordinator for a National Heritage Area and National Scenic Byway, she’s collaborated with organizations like the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and United States Fish and Wildlife Service to develop impactful community revitalization initiatives. Indy’s grant-writing expertise has secured funding for an oral histories project, preserving the stories of Colorado’s most iconic historical landmarks for future generations.

 
 

Indy Jones’ experience in photography includes developing film and digital photography. Indy skills also include: SEO marketing research, tour guiding, web development, museum collection management, archaeology, creative writing, and most recently, artificial intelligence art design. Indy is currently working on a restoration project that includes digitalizing historical slides from the 1970s. Additionally, Indy is currently studying videography.
